The Butlers House

The Butlers House has been run by Steve and Linda Bateman since early 1996. The restaurant was formally The Bulls Head pub and was opened, after being converted, on 28th October 1993. At different times throughout its three-hundred year history, part of the building has been a bank and a butchers. After its opening, the venue soon established itself as a successful a la carte restaurant and gained a reputation for excellent food and fine wine. Situated in Burbage, just outside of Hinckley, The Butlers House is in an ideal position for easy access from the A5, M69, M1 and M6. If you are staying in the area we are also located only five minutes drive from the Hinckley Island and the Sketchley Grange Hotels.

Our Food and Menus

We have a dedicated team of Chefs, fronted by Head Chef Chris Marks who has a great passion for food and has been with us for over six years. We serve English and Continental cuisine using delicious fresh ingredients cooked to order. We have various menus to suit any palate and we can normally meet any dietary requirements.

For example, at lunch we have a snack menu or a two course menu and in the evening we have an early two or three course set menu or the a la carte menu where you can choose from a varied selection of our Chefs finest dishes; ranging from fillet steak and game, to fish, poultry and vegetarian.
